Directions:

Mix all the ingredients together, stir and simmer for 15-20 min

This is a great sauce with spaghetti or even plain elbow noodles. My kids love it and its just a little different than usual mac & cheese.

Pizza

Ingredients:


12 lasagna noodle

1 jar of marinara sauce

1lb ricotta cheese

½ lb cottage cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

2 eggs

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

¼ cup fresh Italian parsley, chopped

½ cup toasted pine nuts


Directions:

-Combine yeast and water and let sit for 10 min

-Add 2 cups of flour and salt (you can add some spices in your crust i.e. oregano, garlic, basil, hot pepper, etc) mix together

-Add more flour, ½ cup at the time and mix

-Knead the dough by hand till ready

-Preheat oven to 450, grease cookie sheet, stretch dough to fit the pan and pinch up edges to form a rim

-Brush with oil and bake for 10 min

-Add sauce and cheese (toppings), bake till cheese melts and begins to brown


This is a yummy dough and a fun activity for kids! They love making this pizza and even more, they love eating it too.

Spaghetti Sauce

Creamy Pasta Roll-Ups

Ingredients:


2 Tbl dry yeast

4 ½ cups flour

1 ½ cups warm water

1tsp salt

Oil

Mozzarella cheese

Marinara Sauce

Directions:

-  Preheat the oven to 375

-  Bring water to boil, add a pinch of salt and cook noodles till ready, rinse with cold water, drain

-  Combine remaining ingredients except for marinara sauce, together till smooth

-  Prepare a 9X9 in square deep baking dish. Place two heaping tablespoons of filling on the center of the noodle and smear it to cover the whole noodle

-  Roll the noodle up gently and place seam down into the baking dish

-  Repeat with the rest of the noodles, packing them in close together. Pour marinara sauce over the top of the noodles, covering fully

-   Cover the pan and put back for 40 min
